Indian Portrait X - FULL VIEW by JuliZib Indian Portrait X - FULL VIEW by JuliZib
Damund, India

This is the best photo I've taken to this date!

It is a hip shot, and when I saw the outcome I had to make a little dance of joy! I absolutely LOVE it!!
Please comment, I would like to hear what you think!!

This is the final picture from my trip to India, hope you've enjoyed the pictures as much as I did taking them!

Det ER et flott bilde! Gratulerer.

This is a lovely image indeed. I've actually always wanted to visit the slum areas of India, but i'm too soft hearted to dare. A few recent documentaries about India really opened my eyes. The slum areas may be the poorest areas in the world, yet they have one of the richest social structures anywhere in the world. They are so reliant of eachother - I believe the rest of the so-called 'civilised' world can learn a lot from places like this.

Thank you very much!
And yes, their happiness and life-spirit, in spite of their everyday life, is very inspiring!
I learned a lot on my visit there.

I guess you enjoyed all this India series the most because you are the one you travelled there and lived all this experience. We just watched and estimate the icons you sent us, which are all interesting and have something to say.
When i looked this portrait for the first time i thought with my liitle mind that this girl is trying to watch to the future. Her eyes keep staring at this direction, her mouth seems reacting to what she sees and her right hand has taken an anxious position, while her left hand touching the wooden door seems like she does not want to loose contact with the steadier and more secure past she already knows.
Weird is that the second time i watched the photo i thought of the same. And the third..

a :butterfly: to her
